The Library's Web of Science subscription now covers an additional 20 years of citation data, indexing more than 9,200 journals.
This database contains the Cited Reference feature, which enables you to find articles that have cited a book, a patent or another article. This type of search finds articles that cite a previously published work.
The Analyze tool or "Analyse Results" can be used to view trends of search results. "You can determine the most prolific authors for a topic, find the institutions that have published most in a specific field, gain insight into publication trends across time for a set of search results, and identify prominent, well-published collaborators for research projects"
The Citation Report provides aggregate citation statistics for a set of search results. These statistics include: total number of times all items have been cited, average number of times an item has been cited, number of times an item has been cited each year, and average number of times an item has been cited in a year. New E-Journal: The Cryosphere (TC)
The Cryosphere (TC) (the-cryosphere.net) is an interactive, open-access, "international scientific journal dedicated to the publication and discussion of research articles, short communications and review papers on all aspects of frozen water and ground on Earth and on other planetary bodies." The Cryosphere provides a two-stage publication process which involves a scientific discussion forum (TCD).
