EarthPortal: Encyclopedia, News and Forum for the Environment

The Lastest Free Science / Technical Books From National Academies Press (NAP)

National Academies Press logo

National Academies Press (NAP) was created to publish reports issued by the National Academy of Sciences, the National Academy of Engineering, the Institute of Medicine, and the National Research Council, all operating under a charter granted by the Congress of the United States. NAP publishes more than 200 books per year on topics in science, engineering, and health.

Many NAP books, including those below, are freely available to read online. Government employees are also able to order copies of publications free of charge, as long as it's delivered to a government address. If you would like to recommend any of these reports for the library collection, please fill out this form or Request Free Report as Government Employee
