McGraw-Hill Releases Access Engineering 2.0

An updated version of Access Engineering, which now contains over 300 titles, is being released by McGraw-Hill.  The updated e-book site features:

Additionally, articles from the publisher’s Engineering News-Record (ENR) will be added weekly, along with an archive of 500 items.

Free Full-Text Environmental Policy Documents Hosted by UNT

The University of North Texas now maintains the Environmental Science Digital Collection, containing free full-text documents on environmental policy, with particular focus on climate change.   20 countries and in 5 languages are represented, offering documents published by the following agencies:

The date range is from 1970 to the present, and five distinct disciplines are represented, including:

Sorting can be accomplished by author, title, or date, and filtering is possible by decade, country, agency, language, or discipline.  Once a document is selected, you may view the summary and bibliographic description, and download the PDF.

IEEE Xplore Now Available Site-Wide

IEEE Xplore is now available to all of Boulder Labs, including all divisions and groups of NOAA on site.  For those new to IEEE Xplore, this means access to all journals, conferences, and standars by IEEE, IEE, and IET from 1988 to the present.  Certain select articles are available in full-text going back to 1952.

You may search from over 2.6 million documents, or use the Advanced Search option to hone your results.  You may also browse journals, proceedings, standards, books, courses, and surveys, either by title or by subject.  Additionally, you may create a personal account on-site to receive alerts and to create saved searches.
