Database Seminars Next Week

There will be two training sessions sponsored by the Boulder Labs Library for the week of Sept. 11-16. The first will be on the new interface for the GeoRef and MGA databases, the premiere sources for citations in the fields of Atmospheric Science and Geology/Geophysics. It will be held Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2-3pm, DSRC 2A-305. Topics covered will include:

The second training session will be on the new features for IEEE Xplore, a database of full-text IEEE publications including journals, conferences, standards and books. It will be on Friday, September 16, 9-10am, DSRC GC-402. Features covered will include:

Biodiversity Heritage Library

The Biodiversity Heritage Library is a consortium of 12 libraries making available materials on biodiversity and related topics, like ecology and climate, available as Open Access.  Search options available include: Biodiversity Heritage Library

Max Planck Society eDoc Server

The Max Planck Society eDoc Server is an archive of research output from over 80 Max Planck Institutes across Germany. Areas of relevance to Boulder Labs research include: Applied Mathematics, Astronomy, and Astrophysics, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Meteorology, Physics, and Quantum Optics (including laser spectroscopy and quantum information theory).
