In celebration of National Library Week, the Boulder Labs Library will be sponsoring the following informative seminars:
Joan Segal has been appointed Acting Director of the Boulder Labs Library (BLL). With over twenty-one years of experience working in libraries, including seventeen at the BLL, Joan is intimately familiar with library administration and the specific research needs of the Boulder Labs scientific community. She takes the helm during a turbulent time for federal libraries, which are facing new budgetary challenges while simultaneously transitioning to more digital resources. As Acting Director, Joan hopes to begin steering the library into the 21st century and a more electronic future, while also maintaining the quality of fundamental research services.
If you would like to share your recommendations for the library and its services, Joan welcomes your ideas and feedback. She can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org, x5550. To learn more about Joan see her staff bio.
