SuperDARN (Super Dual Auroral Radar Network) is a network of over 20 radars fixed on the Earth’s polar regions, funded by the NSF. The purpose of SuperDARN is to measure the position and velocity of charged particles in the ionosphere. Available from the SuperDARN site are several datasets, including:

Repository66 draws on data from ROAR (Registry of Open Access Repositories) and OpenDOAR (covered in the May 2011 Library News) to create an interactive Google map of repositories around the world. Features include:
Clicking on a repository location brings up instant information on the institution, as well as a bar for searching within the repository using Google, Google Scholar, or Microsoft live.

Elementa: Science of the Anthropocene is a new Open Access OA journal focusing on the effect of human activity on the environment. Beginning April 2013, Elementa will be accepting contributions in the following fields:
Elementa will begin publishing in June 2013, and article use and citation will be governed by the Creative Commons Attribution License. Articles submitted by US government researchers will be placed in the public domain as per the Creative Commons Public Domain Instrument.
Because of the 1,775% price increase required to subscribe to the EbscoHost database service in 2013, the Boulder Labs Library has dropped its subscription. This drastic price increase was caused by the vendor no longer allowing special libraries to participate in the Colorado Library Consortium purchase of this product.

Additionally, the Boulder Labs Library no longer has access to a number of online journals whose full-text articles were provided by the EbscoHost databases. The titles have been removed from our website, and articles from them may be obtained via ILLiad.
