Open Library is an open-source library catalog, where users create and edit catalog pages on book titles of any subject, similar to a wiki page. Some titles can be downloaded or borrowed as eBooks. Features include:
The eBook lending library cooperates with about 1,000 libraries to make available 100,000 titles for borrowing.
FundRef offers a standard method for reporting funding sources in scholarly publications. Research output can then be tracked by funding source. FundRef features these two tools:
Publishers sign up for FundRef and download the Registry. Researchers supply information about their funding sources upon submission of an article, which are assigned unique ID’s that can be tracked via FundRef Search or CrossRef Metadata Search. FundRef data can also be linked with a researcher’s ORCID account.
