Meteorologische Zeitschrift has converted to the full Open Access model in 2014. The journal accepts submissions in English covering all fields of the atmospheric sciences, which are published under the Creative Commons CC-BY-NC license. Article types accepted include:

THE NASA GCMD (Global Change Master Directory) has released Version 9.9.3 of its database platform. GCMD enables you to search for datasets and service descriptions in all areas of the Earth and environmental sciences. Upgrades and new features include:
GCMD was originally covered in the June 2005 Library News. Since 2005, the database has expanded from approximately 15,000 descriptions to more than 31,000.
