Painting the Weather: over 100 paintings from 50 UK galleries from the BBC - bbc.co.uk is a collection of the best weather paintings by 80 artists, including Monet, Van Gogh and El Greco, from around the U.K. They were chosen by the National Gallery and BBC Four. These pictures are also available for viewing in public galleries around the UK.
Visitors can examine the paintings in detail with a high quality zoom, send e-cards, view artist biographies, learn more about paintings and galleries, or listen to meteorologist Bill Giles' remarks on selected works. There is also an Audio Tour presented by the British Museum director.

Chinese Journal of Chemistry : "an international forum for peer-reviewed original research results in all fields of chemistry. Founded in 1983 under the name Acta Chimica Sinica English Edition and renamed in 1990 as Chinese Journal of Chemistry, the journal publishes a stimulating mixture of Accounts, Full Papers, Notes and Communications in English." Audience: Chemists of all disciplines.
Computers, Materials & Continua (CMC) : "The scope of the journal is covered by the topics: computer modeling & simulation; analysis and synthesis of engineered structural and functional materials; biomaterials; smart materials and structures; solid and fluid mechanics; micro-electromechanical systems; nano-electromechanical systems; nano-micro-macro-level coupled modeling; nano-structured composites; chemomechanical engineering in biosystems; and application of these sciences and technologies in process-and-product development for economic growth, etc...." More
Geophysical Prospecting: "publishes the best in primary research on the science of geophysics as it applies to exploration. Drawing heavily on contributions from researchers in the oil and mineral exploration industries, the Journal has a very practical slant. Audience: Although the Journal provides a valuable forum for communication among workers in these fields, it is also ideally suited to researchers in academic geophysics."
High Frequency Electronics: "Our coverage of this area of engineering includes all possible applications, which can change rapidly as new, creative ideas are developed into products. Our readers' work involves high frequency technologies, including: analog, digital, RF, microwave, millimeter-wave (mm-wave) or lightwave." Audience: engineers, managers, educators and other technical personnel involved in the design and development of products and technologies at high frequencies and high speeds.
Mechanics & Chemistry of Biosystems (MCB) : "Mechanics and chemistry are fundamentally linked together in the science and engineering of biological systems. The aims of this journal are to help establish a better understanding of the mechanochemical coupling in living cells, to facilitate the studies of the mechanics of biomolecules including proteins and nucleic acids, and to provide a knowledge base for engineering biosystems such as hybrid bio/abio nano- and micro-mechanical systems..."
